CHEMetrics Copper Tests Kits

Great video! This will be helpful to a lot of people as the chemetrics becomes more popular.

Thx! I sure like them. Very easy to read and fairly quick. :)

I might have to invest it in myself. I just hope I wouldn't have to use it! Do they have refills separately for sale of those test vials?

You should. Trust me, it's very good to have around when you need to test Copper and get to a perfect therapeutic level and stay there. Yes... they do have refills, I just bought some. :-)

I know it's a good kit, I just haven't needed it since I have no problems using the api kit. But it would probably be a good investment. :) Thanks for the info

just got this kit.. and after years of use of seachenms, api, ect.. this one is the clear choice.. it is more.. but when thinking about what we spend on fish. This is a key piece of equipment. Well worth it.

hmm... is that a new test kit by Hanna... cant seem to find it for sale on usual fish sites

Yeah, I ordered one. I'm going to try it. Compare to API, and Salifert. It may be a solution for alot of people who seem to have trouble testing with the API kit.

i just ordered the Hanna myself.. i will compare it to the chemets i have and post back in a few days.
Interested to know what your think. I think if it's accurate it's a major game changer for alot of the hobbyist's who struggle with regular tests. I am out of town for 2 weeks so I won't be home to mine for a while.

According to Hanna, they do not recommend it for use in saltwater:

At this time we cannot recommend our Copper Checkers for use in saltwater. The method has not been verified to work accurately in the marine environment however we are looking into this and will be performing testing in the next couple of months.
