This is just what happened to me recently, not any factual proof, or saying it’s a good idea but…. newer tank dec21, dosed full dose, 150gal tank, and forgot to turn mine off, everything is mostly fine, think I lost two frags that, some things got beat up, others are never better, maybe that’s why things got extra ticked? Other tank dose day before, uv off no problems? Idk

Turn off the UV. The UV will make the chemiclean not work. Becomes inert I believe. Turn off your skimmer because the chemiclean will cause it to overflow uncontrollably. They say to leave it on but even in the lowest setting it overflowed. You can just take to cup off and let it overflow into the tank if you need your skimmer on. Remove any other media while treating. Carbon or any other absorption media will remove chemiclean. After treatment do a 20% water change. Turn on UV and Skimmer. Add carbon to remove the remnants of chemiclean. I think you will be ok with a few days with the UV off If your treating for ich. Wait for the ich cycle that the cyst drops from all fish. The UV will be most effective when the cysts are free swimming finding a host.

I wouldn’t dose it since we know it’s an antibiotic and they lied to try and cover it up.
Here’s what you may want read and consider before dosing it:
Here's a write up from Germany when Chemiclean was sold there. This was Translated from German into english:
"In August, we applied for a ChemiClean laboratory test via the laboratory www.eurofins.de . The result came at the end of August.
The result was then as feared:
The ChemiClean agent does contain antibiotics, and according to the laboratory's analysis, exactly 320 mg / body weight . It is a physico-chemical investigation. (LC-MS / MS) Test report number: AR-06-JJ-076115-01 and sample number: 703-2006-00076098
Start of examination 08/07/2006
End of examination 08/30/2006
This antibiotic that was found in the laboratory is called erythromycin. This is a very cheap broadband antibiotic that is in the cent range."

If I claimed I do not have a red chevy in my driveway, does that mean I do not have a chevy in my driveway? Of course not.
They claim it does not contain "erythromycin succinate".
I and other chemists stated for many years that this claim was very unusually written. Succinate is not important. Erythromycin comes in other forms and is even approved by the FDA for human use in other forms. Succiante is just the counterion for the positively charged erythromycin. Any negatively charged ion could work in this application.
But that's just informed speculation, here's the proof, as proven in court in Germany:

I know it’s an antibiotic but at a certain point I feel like I want to use it due to the cyano smothering my corals

That was why I used it, only the second time for me in my short three years….if things are dying or close too and I’ve been trying with no success to cure then like said above, gotta do what you gotta do
