CHEMI PURE AND PURIGEN

I have a Innovative Marine 20 gal aquarium. I installed a filter rack that I.M. offers. I put Poly Filter on the top. Two pieces. In the middle I put four mini bags of Chemi Pure. On the bottom I put an appropriate size bag of Purigen. My question is, Have I put in to much filtration?

The only way to to truly know, is to test for / and keep an eye ;Cyclops on your nitrates and phosphates.
