Chemi-pure Blue vs. Chemi-pure Elite ?

So I have a biocube and for the last couple of months I have been running the chemi-pure blue.. Trying to decide if I should stick with chemi-pure blue or go back to chemi-pure elite..I haven't really seen much of a difference?? And their really is not much material I have found that tells the benefits of one over the other?? Do any of yall know?

I understand that chemi-pure blue is supposed to have high grade pelleted carbon.. But both are supposed to have highly absorbent resins?.. But is this a benefit over chemi-pure elite.. So I guess I'm asking what are the pro's and cons of blue vs elite? What has your experience been?

I personally don't think there is enough of a difference to warrant the extra price...I have ran both and never noticed a difference in water quality between the two (based on normal water tests). That being said, I believe Blue is supposed to be similar to running Elite with Purigen (at least that is what I have read)?

The way I understand it..... Elite has GFO while Blue has Purigen. The resins that are in Chemi-pure are useless in saltwater and questionable in fresh water. What you are paying for is prepackaged medium quality carbon with either GFO or Purigen, not that anything is wrong with that. Note that some people report problems with the aluminum based Purigen and SPS corals. I would stick with the Elite if you plan to use it.

FWIW, Purigen is not aluminum based. It is an organic polymer.

I'm also not sure that the organic polymer in Chemipure Blue is the same polymer as in Purigen. Do you know that it is?

Soo Randy which would you recommend? I also already run purigen in my system.. do you see any added benefit of running chemi-pure blue over chemi-pure elite? Thanks for the input into my questions!
