Chemi pure Blue

has anyone used chemi pure blue?

A sales guy at a nearby lfs told me he uses it on his customers tanks he maintains. He said it really has helped several people get their algae issues under control.


I am wondering if anyone can confirm that this product really helps fight algae. Is it better than regular carbon?

Essentially it is GFO. I use it or Elite in my AC70 and am happy with it. Just don't overdo it, make sure your not using too must as it can strip your phosphate too quickly.
