My tank finished cycling about a week ago and I just tested Phosphates and they're at about .10. I'm guessing they may be leaching from the Marco rock I have as I don't have any fish yet. I would like to lower them before adding my first coral. I am not interested in a reactor as I don't have a sump in my 36 gallon. I was curious if anyone had any insight or experience with Chemi or Clear FX. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Well from the looks of it, for phosphates, chemipure blue won't do any good. Chemipure elite has gfo that will do po4 and silicates. Clear FX talks of 'half the time of gfo' and only po4, no silicates. I might be tempted to use the clear fx, but at a quarter the dosage at first, if it does half the time. (because gfo can cause necrosis from the effect of stripping the water)

If po4 is all you're wanting to handle, check out lanthanum chloride.

Anyone been using this clear fx for a while? I've been using chemi pure for over a year just curious if the clear fx works better.
