This is the first time I'm using chemi pure in the 6 months my tanks been up and the main reason I'm doing it is because I was told it would help cut down on some of the floating particles from my pistol shrimp digging where do I need to put it? In my sock, or in my overflow box?

It slows the flow down quite a bit and have two bags for my 75 would there be anything wrong with putting it in the baffle before my return?

That's where I placed mine. It's between the fuge and the return section.

How often do you have to trim them up. I thought about putting them in my refugium but figured they'd just perish being in under the cabinet

I've only had them in for about 3 or 4 months. When I got them there was one leaf on each stock. I haven't had to clip them yet.

I may have to give them a try my cheato doesn't look as good as yours but I'm digging the drop light I may have to yank my light off my fugie and replace with one

Yeah the drop light works well and saves space. These are the bulbs I use. I pull a handful of cheato out every month and take to LFS.

I know a 60 watt is hot in them but what about them curly cues do you have alot of heat in your cabinet?

I don't notice much heat at all.

I don't have doors on my cabinet so there could be heat if I had doors closed.

I went back to elite after a few months. I never noticed a difference at all.

Yeah the blue cost a little more and is a 5.5 oz container. The elite is 6.5 oz. at least this is what size bags I use.
