right now I am not using any chemical filtration, 120 gallon system with 40 breeder as sump. Thinking to add carbon, do I need media reactor like the BRS or I can use media bag and throw into the sump?Mixed reef, mainly LPS

Thanks

You don't NEED a reactor to use carbon or other chemical media, but a reactor will be a much more efficient way to use carbon or other media.

Thanks, so I can just throw the media bag in my sump. I rather not have more equipment if I don't have to

That's what I do with the carbon. I run gfo through a reactor. The tumbling does make a difference
