Chemiclean cyanobacteria treatment

Hi everybody, I am in the process of getting rid of lime green cyano using Chemiclean cyanobacteria treatment. I have added extra bubblers. Is it best to turn the lights out for a couple of days with the Chemiclean in or does it matter? Thanks

I left them on, it didn't matter it still got rid of the Cyano.

I also left my lights on and everything worked fine. I don't think it makes a huge difference
