Chemiclean Question

Need to run chemiclean in my 130g mixed reef. Is the skimmer running with the cup off enough aeration? Or should I add more?

I thought it says to leave the skimmer off for 48 hours and then to turn it on after that times up. If you need aeration just point your power heads at the surface or drop in an air stone.

Definitely run skimmer with cup off that provides a ton of aeration and it should be enough

It does say that but I’d think running the skimmer would provide more aeration than anything else especially an air stone. Having the cup off will just let it overflow back into the sump without removing any of the chemiclean.
