I had ordered a batch of Eco pods from algae Barn to seed my fuge, but while waiting for that shipment to arrive someone recommended I use chemiclean to clean up a moderate cyano outbreak. They said to use three treatments, one every other day then a 20% WC and adding carbon (seems excessive as the cyano isn't that bad?). I was one day into that treatment and my pod delivery showed up. Now I'm wondering if I should wait to add the pods until I get the water change done and carbon added? The 'use by' date on the pods says I've got a couple weeks but not sure I want to leave them in the little jar that long... Any thoughts?

If only.

Pods cover every panel of my tank. I have to scrape the front panel to take a pic. Chemiclean seems to have no detrimental affect.
