Greetings

I am 21 days into copper treatment in my HT - running Mardel Coppersafe at 2.5 - verified daily with Hanna checker. Cyanobacteria is now coating all surfaces. Anyone have experience running Chemiclean with chelated copper? I can wait until copper treatment is done, but my DT is running fallow currently and won't be available until July.
Thanks for your help.

If you've got cyano in your QT, your organics are probably pretty high.
I'd do a water change, siphoning all of the cyano out in the process.
Treat the new water with copper before the water change.

But to answer your question directly, I've never tried ChemiClean in a QT. Sounds stressful.

Since we don't know the exact ingredients of chemiclean, I would not mix it with other things. I know cyano is ugly, but not worth potentially jeopardizing fish health. Good advice above on how to deal with it.
