I’ll have to have a look I think it was a Chinese study but it was a study referenced within a study. The gist of it was that organic resins cannot absorb phosphate in alkaline environments ie above a ph of 7 or more which marine tanks are. They were trying to modify a specific resin with Lanthanum Oxalate so it could be used effectively in alkaline applications, it was a study quoted within that one but I’ll have to try and trace if.
