CHEMIPURE BLUE

Now I am starting to think it may be. What can i put in to clear it? More turbostart 900 or is that wrong stuff?

New tank, things are still balancing out. If fish are doing well, and levels are where they need to be, I might be in the minority but I'd let things work themselves out before adding this or that. I don't even think I had lights on in my tank for the first 8 months. Additionally if you do use GAC, I'm a fan of a media reactor instead of the chemipure. I think you get more bang for your buck. I use a BRS reactor with their Rox Carbon.

I agree, my tank is almost 5 months and it took close to 4 months to clear from all of the uglies. More patience is required.

Have you tried cleaning the glass? My water started looking cloudy, I was running charcoal too, there didn’t seem anything on the glass to clean, but I had just bought a new cleaner so gave it a go, it made a big different to the look of the water, suddenly it was clear again, I would have thought with Chemi and charcoal, your water should be clear.

Yes, it is clean even bough a new mag flipper scraper to clean it.

I know this is an old thread, but I came across it researching chemipure, when I get bio blooms that cloud up the tank I dose a bit of vibrant and it usually clears up the water in a day or 2.
