Do I just rinse this stuff just like rinsing a carbon filter

I JUST added this stuff to my tank for the first time yesterday. Water looks great today by the way!! I just took a pitcher of my RO/DI water and slowly poured it over the mesh bag and turned it over a few times while doing so. Didn't take long but I rinsed A LOT of black stuff out! Hope this helps.

Cause I'm thinking it just needs to be rinsed just like a carbon filter

I rinse mine in a bucket of ro di water. Treat it like you would carbon.

Ya I rinse mine but it's my favorite carbon makes water Crystal clear

I think I little bit went in the tank but today it looked better than ever.
