I'm running chemipure elite in my tank and I've got some cyano and I want to get rid of it but it's not really bad but I just started to run the chemipure elite about a week ago and I was using city water and I'm switching to rodi water that I'm buying from my local fish store and my phosphate are at .036 and nightrates are at 15 so what do I need to do to get rid of this algae

Changing to rodi water should help a lot as long as it doesn't have phosphates or nitrates in it. Have you tested the water you get from the store?

I used a gfo reactor to control the phosphates in my nano. Two little fishies has a good one and gfo isn't that expensive. The tumbling action really helps.

I've got a two little fishies 150 and I got phosban and purigen and biopellets

But right now I've gotta change the phosban in the reactor and I don't know if I need to because I'm running chemipure elite in my cpr aquafudge 2 refugium

I've never run them all together but remember if you need to change one, you'll have to change them all. If they don't exhaust at the same time, you could end up wasting product.

What would be best to run in the reactor along with the chemipure elite in the refugium

Because I've got biopellets I could run in the reactor because there good for nightrates

Your phosphate at .03 isn't too bad IMO unless you have a ton of sps. I'd change either the phosban or the chemipure but not at the same time. What corals do you have in your tank? Do you have any algae?

Yeah I have cyano algae in the refugium and some brown algae on the rocks but I just put the chemipure elite in a week ago but the phosban has to be taken out its been running for about 2 months

That sounds about right. If you can, it might be better to run the gfo separately. That way you can change just it when the phosphates start to creep up.

So running chemipure elite in the refugium and phosban in the reactor should take care of everything

I know phosban takes out phosphate but does the chemipure elite take nitrates out
