chemipure green

I'm a big fan of chemipure, but sadly their customer service is less than desired. I've emailed them a few times over the years, with never a response.

My question is has anyone used or thought of using the new chemipure green in a macro display tank. I would think the carbon and resins would be the same for fresh or salt, although this product is targeted to freshwater planted tanks.

While the needs of fresh and salt algae are similar, most freshwater activated carbon is of a lower grade than you would want to use in a marine tank.

If the researchers at Chemipure believed that Green would be of ANY benefit for marine tanks, you can trust that their marketing department would be all over it. Since they are targeting freshwater with this product, I would never consider using it in saltwater.
