My mag seems to always be at around 1200 when I test monthly.I dose about 120 ml cal and alk daily.when I bring up my mag by adding 1,2 cups at a time do I need to worry that the raised mag levels will affect the alk level in the tank being that I am dosing the same amount of 2 part daily?or can I dose the mag with no effect on my 2 part.

Dosing appropriate magnesium supplements will not impact the existing alkalinity in the aquarium.
