My tank is mostly LPS and softies with one monti. Probably won’t add too many other SPS as this is my first tank. The tank is about 3 months old. Should I do anything with the numbers below? Currently dosing reef fusion 2 part and purple up.

Phosphate - 0 (API)
Nitrate - 0-5ppm (API)
PH - 8.15-8.3 (Salvert)
MG - 1290-1320 (salvert)
CA - 470 (Salvert)
KH - 8. 3 (Salvert)

I would consider getting different test kits for Nitrates and Phosphates. Go with the Hanna ULR phosphorous checker, and Salifert for nitrates. They’re more precise.

I’ve been looking at the Hannah checker. Kind of hoping they go on sale for Black Friday. Wife found out how much I’ve been spending and is watching like a hawk now

I agree the numbers look ok, but nitrate and phosphate may or may not be too low.

I will run to my LFS tomorrow and at least pick up the Salifert testers. What should those numbers be at for a LPS dominant tank?
