I have a 75 gallon reef tank Im building. Currently the tank has rock, sand, 2 clown fish, an emerald crab, and a conch. I am constantly struggling with low alkalinity. I am using bulk reef suply supplements. My parameters are:
MG-1400
CA-397
KH-7.0
For the last few weeks I have been using BRS calculator to dose. According to it, I should dose around 4ml to get from 7 to 9. Currently Im dosing 74 ml and it is gradually going up around .3 dkh daily. I dont know what is using up all this alkalinity.
Currently Im 2 part dosing equal parts of KH and CA, 74 ml.
Im testing with Hanna checkers.
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure how you got "4 ml" from the calculator, but that's not right. For sodium carbonate, you need to dose 107 mL to go from 7 to 9 dKh. For sodium bicarbonate, you need to dose 214 mL:
