Cherry Charms have the best color under higher light levels. We have them up high in our T5 lit tanks and they do great!!

Mainly because no one can make them look like this... Only way to do so is to blast them with light (keeping them at the top of the tank). However, most people place z's & p's near the bottom, and in the case of mohawks they tend to brown out and lose their pink.

I have always been able to maintain a pretty pink color with just T5's, not as pink as the above but pink.

Please note this intense coloration was achieved with the use of metal halides, colors may lose a little intensity under light levels.
