First I would like to say that I've made several orders with Cherry Corals and have never had the smallest annoyance, gripe, irritation or anything else with their packages like I have with others. CC has never disappointed me whatsoever. As far as their packaging goes, they do everything correct and show care for the animals. Their packaging has been my favorite so far and I've ordered from several vendors here. Not to say others packaging is subpar, but CC's is just that much better. Another thing I would like to point out is I've never received a single coral from CC where the polyps were not out, extended, open or expanded whatever the case may be. They've always been most helpful and the easiest to work with. Todd likes to text which is perfect for me. I can text him to ask questions or to add something and he responds fairly quickly. I can say that I will always be a Cherry customer!

I would also like to encourage everyone to have their package held at your local shippers office if you are able to pick it up. You can usually pick it up about an hour before it's usually delivered, it won't be riding around on the truck for that period of time, it will be in a climate controlled building, and will be slightly less stressful for the animals. Todd was nice enough to put a hold on this package for me, and I will most likely do this with all orders from anyone from now on.
Now for the unboxing phots.
Something that sets Cherry Corals apart in their shipping is the box they use. It is a fully enclosed styrofoam box inside a cardboard box rather than pieces of styrofoam lining a cardboard box. They tape the lid to the box so it doesn't come loose during shipping.
Sometimes there's a heat pack included and sometimes not. I would like to point out there was not a heat pack in this package. I did have it held at the Fedex location. In the pic that is just paper. The weather here was in the 50's when I picked this package up. When I got it home the bags weren't cold at all and was warm to the touch just like the water in my tank. I think this is due to the fully enclosed box they use.
All corals are double bagged. Most were in a big bag together and then in their individual bags. I also had a couple others that wouldn't fit in the big bang, but were also double bagged.
The big bag was also ziptied.
Each coral is placed inside a cup to protect it from being smashed or broken. There are holes to allow water throughout the cup.
Now for the pics of each one in the bag. Some are hard to tell that the polyps are open due to the angle and folds in the bag. I can assure you that each one had extended polyps. I've ordered zoas, SPS and various LPS and everything has been open or puffed up.

I would also like to say if you don't own the CC Retina Blaster Suharsoni you should! It is the brighest acro in my tank. I think they even have another that might rival this in brightness...Intense Tenuis maybe. I'll have to pick that one up next time! Here's a pic of my Retina Blaster I got with my previous CC order. Oh and that's the CC Outrageous Granny back right.
