I currently count 7, although a few are just "budding" in. Fully formed eyes I count 5. The piece almost seemed to start growing from day 1, which I attribute to our interaction on making sure it was the healthiest it could be upon shipping. Love the color though. An amazing piece.

Wow, it's gorgeous!! Any way you can get any close up top down shots? I ended up fragging another piece for another friend and then made my colony into two pieces. One to grow out for myself and one to grow out and share. It grows well and is a really nice chalice. A must have. I can't wait until my personal piece gets up to 20-30 eyes and all that blue comes in. It won't be long at the rate it grows when it is happy.
