I'll never mind questions-this is "our" grow out, everbody has "rights"-LOL

I fragged;

Kernel Mustard-This one was one of those that had a name but was not on any list I ever saw or can find
and 3 "?" -2 of which may have been from KTAR-?????

The issue was when Tysen sent these I wrote down all the names and I did not realize until later that 2 of the bags said Ktar, the ink was smeared and I could make out a "K" and thats it, I could tell it was a 4 letter word but had no clue what it said so I wrote on my intial sheet "K???" and then later after texting Tysen was told that those were probably Ktar's.

Cherry Corals where the only ones that all had the writing and remeber there were 3 acans that had names that where never even listed in what we bought so who knows whats up with that.

Here is a layout of what is what as it sits in my tank -the bottom of the list would be the front of the tank while the top is the rear of the tank as you are facing the frag tank. The bottom right hand corner "?" is actually the name under construction acan, it was not noted initially and process of illimination told me thats what it is

With regard to which ones we are waiting on to frag thats a tough one since it depends-My goal is to get everyone equal head/polyp counts but thats proving tough. I am trying not to consider babies as part of the count but I have one frag for instance that has 1 adults and 3-4 babies where the other frags of that same acan are 2 full heads, so I figure the 3-4 small babies make up for only having 1 full polyp.

I'll take somne more pics so it'll be easier looking back as to where we are-that layout I put up will help.

I also want to frag at least 4 more acans for this 1st shipment which would make for at least 12 different acans to everyone on the 1st shipment. I would like to be able to do this in 2 shipments but that wont happen. There are still a few that only have 1 or 2 polyps. I broke my blade on the last set and just bought anther 3 pack-it shipped today so as soon as I get it I'll frag 4-5 more and then I want to allow them to heal at a minimum 2 full weeks.

We have all waited this long, no sense in rushing it at the end

Awesome, it's been said before but this is an EPIC growout (all things considered). This group is gonna end up with one heck of an acan collection!

Just a brief update-I got my replacement blades on Sat for myy saw but have been crazy busy with work and have not had achance to cut more frags. I hope to cut at least 4-6 more tomorrow and want to let them heal and ship those with the others I fragged so hopefully the first shipment has at least 12 frags!
The first group I fragged look good, one frag out of one group is small so I may hold onto that group and see how it comes along.
I should be able to post pics of whats fragged this weekend, I'm sure everyone will be pleased with how they are coming along

I'll also update the list with the ones I forgot to post or add to the list

I have these rainbows I fragged I was selling for 30.00 locally but 25.00 a head for the "group"

I fragged 5 more acans tonight-these are tough, if they were growing on a flatter surface and not in a golf ball shape it would be easier-:tsk:GRRRRR, and of course you cant make every frag equal-:blah::blah::blah:

Its amazing how fast these guys can change color. I tried a different fixture (LED) that had some reds, greens, and blues as well as the typical Royal Blue and cool white and some of the "?" acans morphed with a quickness, needless to say I went back to old faithful.

For those running T5's Reefup posted he was using these;
ATI actinic
ATI blue plus
Giesman aquapink ( close to purple plus but pulls a few more colors)
Giesman actinic plus (not as bright as blue plus)
Uvl 454
Uvl actinic

and others I have seen
Coral Plus
Blue Plus
Aqua Blue
Blue Plus


Anyway I am running 3 RB to 1 Cool White (36 Royal Blue and 12 Cool White) 24 RB running at 70% and then 12 CW and 12 RB at 20%-I tested the par yesterday and I'm at 78-80 where these guys are sitting
