Ah bummer for me xD those look nice! Do they work as far as sliding the trays out? Might be worth it anyway lol... I'm finding the ATO is just plain in the way once you have a skimmer and a light. My sump light is that H380 beast of a light.

Yes, hopefully they will work well. Yes you can still slide the trays out.

Do you think you might upgrade the ATO?
 
I wish, I'd have to drill a hole in the wall into my laundry room for that lol I currently have all my electrical components in the other cabinet in the stand. A water bucket in there would be scary. Plus I 3D printed something to hold the hose onto the current sump lol.
 
If I had to complain about something with this tank it is the sump. It was my complaint when they announced it and my view hasn't changed since owning it.

The skimmer chamber needs to be on the other side. You skim out your pods from the fuge as well as end up with chato in the skimmer pump, and emptying the skimmer is a huge pain! Stupid me, I bought the best sump light which is also the biggest one ever...

Don't get me started on filling the ato

Got a lot of frags this week! Pink Floyd acro, ORA Pearlberry, Walt Disney, bubblegum digi, vivid rainbow delight acro, french tickler, WWC too legit, VDM zoas, bugatti chalice, pink hippos, scarface zoas, vampires in drag, tons of signature sticks and colonies from Gonzo's corals just to name a few! I can't wait until my tank fills in! I'm up to 73 different corals in the display and another 45 in the frag tank. I need to slow down with such a new tnak lol but everything is happy. PE oon all and it looks great. Pics to come. I looooove corals!

Any particular reason you cant just swap sides and put the skimmer in the front? I cant see an issue in doing that in my sump however i also didnt want to look at skimmer when i opened the cabinet...i'd rather see the fuge lol.

I really dont like to ATO setup myself. I've had my pump start to lose suction and the ATO tank is still half full. I suspect the float valve and will likely change it over to an Apex controlled setup. Filling the ATO is a pain lol. But i have plans for that too. Nice build overall.

Oh trust me I did try to put the skimmer in the first chamber initially but the skimmer was way too big. The plastic would bulge out in the divider and felt like it would crack. It just wasn't going to work that way I wish it did though haha. I think I'd rather see a fuge too.

Printing that part has been the ATL a lot easier to deal with that's for sure. Thanks for the compliment

Perhaps cuz my tank is the XXL750 but the divider can split the difference between both chambers. havent seen the sump layout of the XXL625...

Ah sorry for the delay, didn't get a notification or missed it. It's got a divider but it's not even, the fuge side is smaller by it makes a difference for my big skimmer :/
