Chevron Tang with lle HELP

Hello,
I have a small Cheveron tang with what looks like lle to me, his face is very pale almost white and his fins are tattered and uneven. I have seen no other fish bothering him or nipping his fins. He has a great appetite I feed him seaweed and frozen foods with self on soaked in. I am using chemipure blue in a reactor. What else can I do for him as all other fish seem fine and they have all been together for 3 or more months with no new additions.

Can you post a photo? It sounds more like a bacterial infection to me.

I agree. The tattered fins especially speaks of an infection. Pictures are always helpful

He looks to have an infection eating at him. He's also in pretty bad shape there. Do you have a QT to treat him in? We will want to find out what caused the infection, but for now a QT getting set up is the first step.

+1 Treating with Kanaplex in QT would be a good second step. If the infection doesn't respond to that, you may need to add Furan-2 and Metroplex to his treatment plan.

Spot on looks like something is eating it to me as well, probably an infection. Good advice provided above for you

Wow thank you so much. I do not have a tank set up for qt but I will get something going asap. He eats great and acts normal just looks bad..
