today i went on a tour of just 4 chicago-area reef stores. i waltzed in, camera in hand, unannounced(!), and asked permission to shoot. they all happily told me i could shoot whatever i wanted to shoot. this by no means represents their entire livestock inventory, rather it is a sampling of what i found extra nice - and being that i didn't use a tripod and was shooting under various blends of lights over different tanks, i used what was usable.
i hope you enjoy a sampling of what chicagoland has to offer! i must say i was pleasantly surprised.
i'd like to give credit to these awesome stores, but don't know the rules of what i can and can't say about who they are, being that i don't believe any of them really do much online sales or are vendors here. i'll happily edit this post with their names/locations if that's allowed!
