Chiefs Reef Tank

[Chiefs Reef]

Hello Everyone,
I decided to start a build thread for my 56 Gallon reef aquarium. The tanks been cycling for over a month now, and is ready to be finalized so I can start slowly adding some SPS and fish.

Here's the list of things to do yet.
-Aquascape the rock
-Switch out lighting to ATI Sunpower / 6 Bulb Fixture
-Get a better skimmer
-Get a few reactors
-Get a dosing pump
-Get an ATO

For Aquascaping I will be using roughly 50-60 Pounds of dry Branching Tonga Rock, I'm going to use Zip Ties and Appoxy to hold everything together.

I've also put together a small incomplete fish list. If you have any suggestions let me know!
-Yellow Eye Kole Tang
-Leopard Wrasse
-Yasha Goby

As it goes for corals I've decided it going to be SPS dominated with a few Zoas and LPS, I know for SPS I'm most likely going with all Bushy and Tabeling Acros.

Here's a list of the equipment I'll be running.
Lighting
- ATI Sunpower / 6 Bulb Fixture

Filteration
- EShopps RS-75 Gen 3 Sump
- Reef Octopus Classic 100INT 4" Skimmer

Water Movement
- 2 Vortech MP10'S

Other Equipment
- JBJ ATO
- BRS Biopellet Reactor

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Just checking but has the rock been in the tank cycling with it and you are just doing the aquascape after it cycled?

Yes that exactly what I did, tossed the rock in the tank for the whole month it cycled and now I'm pulling it all out to aquascape!
