Has anyone ever used this brand of dosing pump? If so any thoughts on it? I’m looking for a WiFi pump that’s not going empty my pockets.

I recomend the joyreef diy dosing pump project if you are looking to go cheap.

I've been running it for a year and its dope to be able to have so many heads and spareparts on the cheap.

My elctrical skills were extremely lacking but it came out looking and working great. I might have soldered 2 capacitors ever in my life up to the point i took this on, took me about 90 minutes from start to finish.

Edit: adding link

One of the easiest apps to use. Holds +\- 5% between 2-3 month recalibration. The dosing head they give you is total trash though. Swap it with a Red Sea or equivalent and it’s a great system for ~$180 including the new holder.

Grabbed a couple screenshots from the app. Don’t think you will find a 4 head pump cheaper.

Are you referring to the chihiros dosing pump?

That’s the part you need to swap out if you want to run 2-part through it.

Did you get the kit that came with th bottles? Did you use the tubing provided or get new?

I got the kit with the bottles due to limited space for one tank and on another I’m using 2L reservoirs. On both I’m using their included tubing which is holding up fine after over a year. They give you an insanely large amount of tubing which is ~1mm smaller than standard. For that reason it helps to soak the end in hot water if you do end up using the Red Sea nozzles.

@The_Paradox are you saying you pulled the stock pump heads and the Red Sea heads are a drop in replacement?

I just calibrated my Chihiros pump but haven’t installed it yet. I did ask on their forum about replacement heads and they stated not available for purchase in US.

Thanks
