Chiller and heater question

If my chiller is at 77 degrees where should I put my heater at it's a coral life chiller and a cobalt heater?

Depends on your temps around the tank, if they can vary greatly or not
If it fluctuates a good bit, then you'll want a lager temp "deadband" where no heat or chiller runs.

If you're using a common (1) controller like Apex...

Determine your desired tank temp...say 80
Set chiller temp for 81
Set heater temp for 79
