I will be starting to put together my new tank soon. I think I will include a chiller. My question is ok I know they blow out heat, so I am thinking about putting in my Garage, witch is not heated or cooled. I am not 100% but I bet it gets over 100 degrees in there will it still cool the tank?

Yes but it depends on the hp or wattage. It will just make.the room even hotter.

They work like the AC in the house. It normally has a 20 degree difference from the atmosphere its in. If your garage gets to 90 about the best you'll get is 70 deg water out. The actual tank temp you can manitan will depend on the HP of the unit and how much flow youre passing though the chiller itself

Thanks for the Replys I am not worried about how hot the garage gets I bet it's 100 in the summer but not 100% sure, and I guess it it kept the tank at 80 it would be ok
