I am setting up a new 125gal w 40 gal sump mixed reef with an apex classic. I have a chiller to install. My problem is the return from the chiller. I would like to return to the sump but I don't want it to influence the temp probe. My sump is divided into three chambers, in from display, skimmer and back to display.
The temp probe can be installed anywhere in the sump.
Any suggestions

Temp probe goes in the chamber that comes from tank, chiller return goes to chamber back to tank.

By the way make sure set chiller temperature. Like 3-6 lower than apex. This way when apex jump chiller will start right the way. Some time. Chiller didn't read all temperatures. My deep blue 1/4 almost 8 off. Too start.

This is how I set it up. Makes most sense. I was worried the cold water from the chiller might make its way back to the other side of the sump somehow. All is good. Thank you!

10-4 I will. Thanks for the heads up!
