I recently picked up a china wrasse and rhomboid wrasse. They are both in a 10 gallon QT tank right now, but the china wrasse appears to be having some problems. There is a plastic container with sand in it for him, but he doesn't seem to have found it. So he spends all of his time bumping into the glass mouth first. His mouth is a little pink, and it appears to have white things in it, which may be teeth, but I just don't know. I've attached the best pictures I could get to the post. I am about to start treating for worms, as I'm seeing white stringy poop. Anything I can do right now? I am doing the hybrid ttm method. I have API General Cure on hand.

Thanks!

A 90 minute bath in methylene blue for injury, scrapes, etc. can work really well.
Another option would be a 90 minute bath in Ruby Reef Rally can also be helpful.

Keep an eye on the are for growing redness, white filmy areas that may be a bacterial infection working. Treat a bacterial infection of the head area with Sulfaplex + Neoplex.

I'll swing by the fish store tomorrow morning to grab some Ruby Rally.

Are the white stringy things in the mouth of any concern? I'll try to get a better picture if I can.

How did things work out for you? I have a Christmas Wrasse with the same issue. Doing Rally baths

Sorry for the delayed response. This particular China Wrasse didn't make it. I never had any kind of resolution.
