Chinese black box height

I moved everything from my old 26g bow to a 40 breeder What’s a good height to hang my black box over the tank. Old tank was around 12” blues 100% and whites around 5-10

I run mine 12 inches above water line. I am at 50% blue and 15%whites.

What corals you have

Mostly softies and zoas. I do have a hammer, torch and frogspawn. I may need to up my spectrum.

I have mine at 12” with 100 blue 10 white. In my new tank I can’t really tell how the corals are doing due to them being ticked to a mink cycle

I think I'm running my 165 watt MarsAqua about 14" over my standard 20 gallon tank. I run the blues at 100% and the whites at about 50%. MIxed reef. (sps, LPS, softies) HTH. GL.
