I recently purchased glass for a broken down aquarium dirt cheap. I realized there was a small chip in the glass. Before I build this I wanna make sure this is fine? I can flip it around so it will be on the outside. Here’s some pics. If anything I’ll just order new 2x2 1/2 inch glass. Everything else seems to be fine just this one area

Looks superficial to me.

What I'd do is inspect the chip further by turning out all the lights at NIGHT so the room is completely dark..... Go buy a LED flashlight that has a very focused beam of light.

With a magnifying glass and your light....look to see if theres any "spider cracks" that reach the silicone seal.

If there are: potential structural failure.

If not: roll with it

Awesome thanks for the info I’ll do it

I avoid defects at all costs. The reality is no one knows for sure here and it is your house that would be damaged not ours..... To me not worth the risk unless in a basement on concrete then maybe a different story.
