Chip out drilling hole. Too big or no go?

So i drilled my last tank no problems at all. Drilling my new tank. 3 of my 4 holes came out perfect. This only thing I can think of is the bit being to dull. But it was the 2nd hole on that bit and I only used a bit for 2 holes and discarded it. And the chip out is on the outside so I really was bamboozled when trying to figure out what happen but O well, it happened. The hole seals fine but my ? is, do you think structurally the tank will be fine? I just wouldn't want some how pressure be on any hole and it crack at this weak point or i don't know. lol Just seeing what you guys think?

Thats a big one.... How big is the tank and where is the hole? I would probably fill it with an epoxy and smooth it out so the bulkhead has even pressure all the way around the hole, regardless of where it is.

120. 48 x 24 x24 hole is top of back wall. Well i still have the part that chipped. it was just perfectly sitting in the hole. Could i just put a bit of silicone on it and put it back in the hole?

Probably better than nothing.

Thats a pretty big chip. If it is high up in back though there won't be much head on it so you might try a tube of the super glue product used to glue rear view mirrors to windshields to glue the chip back in place.

Its about 1in-1.5in from the top. Its the bulk heads for the overflow.

Hi, please could you post how you solved the problem with the chipped area?. I have a similar problem here and its a headache.
