Chipped 180g

Chipped bottom corner of a waterbox 180. Risk it or replace? Seller claims that it has held water for over a year with the chip.

It probably did and still will, I wouldn't though. That's just me, 180g is alot of water if something went wrong as you don't know how hard that got hit and what may be lurking..

i think it would hold water fine but i would be wary as well, make sure the crack hasnt traveled and is actaully just that chip and the seller would have to make the price really reasonable to buy it. somewhere like less than half the price of original cost of the tank

Would make a good garage tank... or outside pond tank.

On the bottom too, I wouldn’t. I would pay 180$ for it and put in garage.
