Decided to drill a future 40G tank propagation system I had in mind as practice for my 125G holes. The tape I had on the inside of the tank came loose as I broke through and I ended up chipping the tank. Is the chip pictured below enough to be detrimental?

Also, The overflow I purchased on ebay from modularmarine came with two gaskets for the hole. Should I leave them on their original position on the inside, or put one on each side of the glass?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Awesome! Just need to do that or better 4 more times for the 125g. Thank you!

Sometimes it's not doing it better the glass tenspds to chip slightly when you make it through. Make sure you let the drill do all the work
