Looks like 2 legs of an asterina starfish- some ppl say they’ve eaten their soft corals but I’ve never noticed it. Lots of people will say to remove it though

Most of the ones we see are Aquilonastra conande. I have no idea why they are mainly one species but I guess some things are just meant to be unknown (same reason why out of all the various types of vermetid snails, sponges, and feather dusters in the wild we get like 1 species of each)It is a sea star, formerly in the Genus Asterina, now named Aquilonastra. There are 28 species, only a couple are predatory, that one shouldn't give you any trouble![]()
@Travis Stewart keep an eye on them, they can spread fast. Unfortunately had ones that loved zoas.
