I can't find them at any LFS at all...no one ever even heard of them.
I'll just order them from John at Reefcleaners online since he seems to be the only one selling them.

Hi Brad, I just found your post from a search for "chiton" on R2R, was just wondering how did yours end up? I am considering getting some from reefcleaners as well since they are so hard to find, but they are sort of expensive with the expedited shipping (considering they are a CUC)...

I ordered 2 of them from reefcleaners.org. Along with some other stuff.
One died the next day and the hermits took care of him
The other one was busy eating algae and would be in one place until it was clean, then move a bit to eat some more...kinda like a really slow lawn mower
He blended in with the rock work so well it was really hard to keep track of him.
I haven’t seen him in a long time so I think he went to the great beyond to join his buddy
If I remember right, you should order a couple since they don’t ship very well.
My emerald crabs are doing a bang up job with the algae now, so glad I got two of those about 3 weeks ago at a local frag swap.
