I don't give the names of LFS that I visit who have parasites as every LFS I visit has parasites and my intentions aren't to discredit the stores, but rather educate and spread awareness of what's constantly lurking that you may or may not visibally see.
I will say that most stores (including this one) are indeed treating their fish with copper or some form of medication to prevent as many casualties as possible.

Yes they typically are. They tend to waste away and die in it.
Great video illustrating the symptoms. FWIW, I usually dissolve CP in some tank water before dosing, just in case a fish eats some of the particles and gets an overdose.
+1 Dissolving before dosing is good advice when it comes to all powder medications. For example, if a fish were to swim through undissolved powder then some of it could potentially damage the gills. All it takes is mixing in a cup with a spoon - one extra step.
For liquid medications (ex. Prazipro) it would be best to pour it into the HOB (or sump if dosed into a DT) so it can be more evenly distributed with water before pouring back into the QT.

I read that to disperse Prazi, it should be strained through a shrimp net directly into the tank.
OR add it to a small glass of tank water, stir it up, wait a few seconds for it to stop foaming, then slowly pour it along the sides of the tank glass. That's what I did. It worked as it was supposed to with no ill effects.
For powder prazi, you can also just add a few drops of vodka to it while stirring. The fish don't seem to mind.

@Reefahholic Very interesting about the Hippo doing well with CP. It is a very powerful drug for eradicating external parasites, but also frustrating because I can't figure out which species are intolerant. Too many conflicting anecdotal experiences.

True that. That's why we keep documenting with video. We all need to document (with video if possible) any fish that's observed with signs or symptoms of poor tolerance to a specific medication. Also, just like I document in the hospital, we need to document "what" the signs or symptoms are, when this started, dose of medication used, etc.
This will help us all to stay informed and further the research of this drug. I for one have only used it once other than this time. So I'm a newbie with CP.
