Choatie, Flames, and more...

Very nice fish-very nice tank all the way around!

Very nice. I love seeing peoples tanks with fish that "aren't supposed to be there". That angel makes me hopeful that one day I shall have one of my own in a reef that won't chow on coral.

Listen,
I have had Reef Safe Fish the picked on Open Brain Corals... In my 220 Gallon Reef tank I ran years back, I had a full size Blue Hippo Tang that loved picking on Open Brain Corals, Wellso's....
Every fish has a different personality. Some are more or less prone to picking at certain corals... I do have LPS in my tank that my Regal could potentially pick on. All of my soft fleshy corals were added before the regal arrived. I also feed the heck out my my regal. He gets fed twice a day, Fish Frenzy, as well as he gets a private feeding of 15-20 Medium Size pellets 2 times a day..... He eats like an animal and is well behaved and trained to eat on a schedule. He will actually eat pellets right from my hand..... I also have a few active wrasses in tank. They eat up all the food. If you look at my tank, it's a mixed reef. I have a bunch of SPS at top of tank. One would think with all the feeding I do, I would have nutrient issues. I do not!! I have an over sized Reef Octo Skimmer, I Dos NoPox, as well as do a Continuous 365 day per year water change via an Apex Dos. I swap out 2 Gallons day of fresh salt water.... Nitrates are 3-5, and phosphates run between .02 and .10.
If you want to put the work in, A regal can be done... Just know what your getting yourself into. Also you must find a specimen that has been in a great Quarantine situation if not your own, and is eating aggressively.
