What is the absolute minimum you’d go with the chocolate tang and is a 75 push it. Also will a 75 gallon tank even work if I get it very small.

I’m gonna ask you one time…..step out of the car sir

Just kidding I have one too many in my 120g atm. A small chocolate tang would be happy to rule that 75g kingdom. I think after 6 inches you should consider a larger tank for that type of tang. I’ve read they get 10 inches but I doubt that’s in captivity.
a more indefinite option for you would be a type of bristletooth tang. They don’t get that big or long

75-90 should be ok. They get to 5 - 5.5" average

You are looking at a very active lateral swimmer that gets over 7", they need at least a 6' tank, minimum 125g. My mimic got beat up badly in his original 180g and I had to place him in my 90g, at about 5" I gave him to a friend with a 220g.

I agree with a 6' 125 gallon minimum
