I have a 180 and am going with the Deltec 1660 at Marine Depot. It's pretty oversized for my tank and even yours and should work well.

Deltec since marine depot brought them back are more or less commercial style skimmers that give you that quality and performance. Aquamaxx as well like the q3, the new FC series. I just picked one up for my 135.

If I were to go with an an aquamax q series skimmer do you think I should go with the q3 or q2.

I run a Coral Vue Diablo DCS Series In-Sump DCS250 on my 220. Here it is sitting in my 75 gallon sump.

Put a Vertex 180i on my 150g system... thing pulls _mud_ out of my water. Reasonably quiet, excellent build quality. No direct experience with their larger models, but I love my Vertex.
