My plan has been 4 fish for my Biocube 29 reef tank. Currently I have the following:

Darwin's Clownfish (Black and White)
Watchman Goby and Candy Pistol (Yellow)
Orchid Dottyback (Purple)

What would YOU add for the fourth and final fish?

The top spot on my list right now is a Six-line Wrasse. But I'm looking for alternatives. I wish there was a bright red fish that would play nicely in this size tank with lots of corals and a prize small shrimp.

Thoughts?

Spotted hawkfish??

What about a red fire fish? They are peaceful and quite beautiful! or just get your red in your corals like I do, and get something blue

Tanaka's Pygmy Wrasse, Pink-Streaked Wrasse, Banded Longfin Basslet, Swissguard Basslet, Pygmy Perchlet, Court jester goby, or fire fish depending on my budget and availability. There's a couple red fish in that list. I would also add another clown and not a six-line. Then call it done.

I have a sixline in my biocube and he is the devil , purely evil cant even get em out unless i tear it down amd hell try to eat ur pistol shrimp lol but that flame hawkfish is awesome

Red stripe cardinal, pink streak wrasse, yellow assessor, lantern basslet, tobacco basslet, swales basslet.

As a follow up to this thread: my first two sets of four fish in this tank all died from ich. Extremely frustrating. I finally wides up and set up a quarantine tank. I prophylactically treated Praxipro and Cupramine over 14 days. I let my tank go fallow for 76 days. I transferred my first fish into the tank two days ago (it's an orchid dottyback). He's eating and doing great. I'm treating the display tank with Maracyn 2 right now just in case (so it's a little cloudy).
