Diamond gobies are not a large threat to Pods as much as the microfauna in the sand. Will they gulp pods up, yes, do they hunt the rocks looking for them? No. I have a Diamond Goby and a Mandarin and both are day and healthy. In a 54 gallon. I fact I see pods everywhere at night.
I do agree Chromis like smaller odd numbered groups (3,5) or LARGE groups (20-30+) I had 7 now 3.
Canary Blennies are very friendly and will accept frozen pretty easily. Lawnmower blenny’s have trouble accepting frozen and stick mostly to just algae. A starry blenny may be better if you want a blenny similar to the lawnmower.
I would avaoid a 6 Line wrasse just because they can be a large hit or miss. Most of them are aggressive and the rest usually turn aggressive after some time. An alternative would be something like a Fairy or Flasher wrasse. Beautiful Colors for Cheaper price.
A watchmen would work okay as him and the diamond goby do different jobs.
I would advise agains Maroon Clowns for your clown pair as they are known to be the most aggressively the clown species.
Dottybacks can be aggressive, so do your homework before buying one. Their are a few that can be less aggressive (Ex: Orchid, Neon to name a few I have had success with)
