Im setting up a 25g tall reef tank and I can't decide between (2) Jebao WP- 10 or
(2) Jebao RW-4.

It will be a mixed reef BTW

The dimensions are 24h x 12w x 24l

The Rw-4 costs more( $58) but it has a smaller design and night mode

The WP-10 costs ($40) but the design is larger and has no night mode.

Opinions please.

Any other pumps that would be good for this tank?

I have r-4 for 2 years and I love it. Reliable and no problems. I had a friends who's wp-10 controller kept having trouble the smaller footprint makes a difference trust me.

Currently have RW-4 for almost a year and no issues so far.
I suggest get one RW-4 first. This thing can move water.
Had WP10 did not last 5 months.

I have a RW4 on my 20g reef, works like a charm, a little over a year old. Night mode doesn't work for me, never has. I have the RW4 at full blast and it pulls the sand away from the glass, it has plenty of power.

I've had 2 wp 10s for the past year and a half with no issues. Just clean them every 2-3 months and your good.

Thoughts about placement?

I have 2 wp-10s placed on the same side, one in back and one up front about 6 inches from the top. And on the other side I have a Tunze 6040.

Thoughts about placement?

Mine is in the middle of the back wall, about 2/3rds of the way up. Used to have it on one of the sides, but the rock work blocked the flow. I get good water movement with its current placement. I'm thinking about getting a cheap 500gph from Amazon (no particular brand- I bought one for my fw tank and liked it- it was $8!!) and putting it on the side to blow behind my rocks.

Can you draw where you're saying it is? I don't really get what you're saying
