Chris' algae farm (ELOS 160)

Hi! For a long time there are no messages.
What happened?

Hi there just out of curiousity how many lbs of dry rock did you purchase for your scape, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Yes, this thread is overdue for an update!

I just came across this build today. As you already know...amazing! I really hope you the tank is still running and you add some updated pictures to this thread. Do you QT your fish before adding them to the display tank? Thanks.

I really have to get some photos and updates moved over here. My local club thread is up to date if you can't wait until I get this one caught up.

Here are a couple:

I use a Canon 5D MkII- not the newest camera but I've been using it forever and I'm pretty familiar with it. I don't have too many problems shooting under LEDs as long as there's enough white light, I usually run all channels around 90% for fish shots. I shoot everything in RAW and process in Lightroom.
Which macro lens are you shooting with? Those are some great images .

You have one of the best tanks I have ever seen.
I just upgraded to a new tank that was inspired by your build.
60x30x26 with a elos style cabinet.

Very nice. Looks like I'm off to the TCMAS site to see the updates.

Love seeing the updates on your tank!

I need to throw out a couple of question. :D

Are you running filter socks? Your water looks soooooo clean / clear.

I'm working on a build right now and have been flip flopping back and forth with keeping my canopy and cutting holes in the top, I'm also using the XR30 Pros, or getting the RMS rail kit. Do you have a lot of overspill with your set up?
