Chris' s Upgrade Plan 90 - 160 SPS Display

Yeah, I figured that. I was going to stick with 1lb/gal for rock. So 160g Display I was thinking of doing 60-80lb of Tampa rock and the rest dry.

That's about what I did. I have a 120 gallon and received about 150# and still had extra to place in the sump. I also don't think he's ever updated the weight to account for using Walt Smith 2.1 rock now. It's much less dense than the original TBS rock.

I did do the sand and very happy I did.

I was at zero ammonia and nitrites in under two weeks. What little ammonia and nitrites I did have at the beginning was very low. I'm sure the live sand helped play a role in helping cure the tank so fast.

Still waiting on my stand to be finished. Ughh the wait is horrible. Other than that, I have been trying to take better pictures with my phone. Here is a picture I captured last night. In the background is my WD Acro. @PSXerholic this is from the nub I bought from you last year.

Well, we got the tank in last night. Missing a few plumbing pieces so we couldn't plumb it but should be able to today!

I also decided to pick up a Maxspect Gyre XF250 w/ Controller and a second head unit to go along with my two MP40QDs!

And an Aquaticlife 60" T5 Fixture to go along with my 3 Radion Gen4 XR30s.

Finally had the tank plumbed last night! Just need to add the rock, sand, and water!
