Thanks! But I will be selling the evo once I move everything into the lagoon.

For equipment: have you thought about a gyre? It might work better for the shape of that aquarium.
For stocking: I think you might be aiming a bit too high with that list. Keep in mind that, while the specs say it's a 50 gallon, the usable space is more like ~36 gallons.

@Tuffyyyyy I have looked into a gyre but I am worried about the maintenance of it. I've read that they are a pain to pull apart and clean and they clog easily. And ah that makes sense on the usable space. I will trim down my list then. Thanks!

This is purely anecdotal, but they're about the same level of difficulty in my experience. The Nero will get stuck when I try to twist it off, and I'm always worried about breaking the plastic. The Gyre is only tough because you have to make sure the end lines up to the slot (keeps it in place on the far end of the pump while the other side has the motor for spinning).

The gyre has been great in my frag tank, and was also excellent in my IM30, both of which have profiles more similar to what you're going to have. The Nero 5 has been great in my 120g, but I didn't like it within my frag tank.

Either way you're not going to go wrong with your choice. Good luck with your build, the IM50 is an awesome footprint.
